Holograms: A Holistic View of Perspectives

What do you know about holograms? I have had a long-time fascination with all holographic things and holograms. Growing up, I remember having some really awesome holographic folders. I would stare at them for hours. Yes, this could be very meditative indeed. At that point, I started to wonder if the whole world that I had believed to be real was actually a type of hologram. And, therefore, we humans are in fact holographic in nature. What do you believe?

The accepted scientific view of holograms and holography is one that talks about light refraction and interference. Holograms are physical structures that diffract light into an image. Holography is based on the simple principle of using holograms to produce a three-dimensional image. This process is done by the interference pattern that is created when light is refracted within the structure. For example, if two stones are thrown into a steady pond of water, the interference pattern between the waves constitutes a hologram. Because a hologram captures the interference pattern between two or more beams of coherent light, more patterns may be seen.

The elegance of this holographic framework is that we can surmise the complexity of the whole within the view of its parts. Why? You may ask. The answer rests in the number of studies that show what happens when we slice a hologram. If a hologram were sliced, the resulting pieces would be able to show the whole image. This gives a whole new meaning to the esoteric phrases “as above, so below” and “as within, so without.”

Holograms can be viewed as a way to shift our perspective. In fact, it could be this precious tool that may help us shift our perspective to a more holistic one. If you are constantly looking through your own limited lens, do you really see yourself accurately? In order to view ourselves more accurately, we must see ourselves from different perspectives and be willing to open up to the different layers that lay unexplored within us. In this way, the human psyche may be likened to a hologram.

The human psyche is similar to a hologram. The psyche has many layers that are available to be explored if the participant is willing to take a dive. In order to view the hidden images within a hologram, we must move the object or source of light to illuminate the other layers that are beneath the first surface layer. In doing so, we begin to see the manifestation of the deeper layers that are within the first outer layer. This is quite simple in its complexity. Is that an oxymoron? Yes, and it is also a paradox. This whole universe is made of that paradoxical harmony of seeming opposites. A complex simplicity is indeed available for us to understand ourselves better through the study of holograms.

How can we then see ourselves from different views? How can we direct the light to illuminate different aspects of our psyche? One way that we can observe ourselves better is by observing our outer experience. We can take notice of what is presented to us in our every day lives. Once we get a clear sense of what is being presented to us, we can sit with that information. We can then start to contemplate the information gathered based on our life experience. As we begin our exploration of our psyche, we can start to understand our inner workings better. The process of Self-Inquiry is pivotal in this exploration, especially in the beginning stages. Like a muscle, the more we practice Self-Inquiry, the better our ability to broaden our scopes.

Working with someone that is seasoned in the exploration of the psyche may be a valuable asset in evaluating our hologram. The process of seeing the various perspectives that are available can get a bit tricky if we are not fully prepared. A useful advantage we have in delving into this explorative process is to work with a professional in this field. Who is considered a professional in this field? Shamans, Quantum Healers, psychologists, psychotherapists or counselors, and those holding certifications in hypnosis are among the many qualified to work at uncovering perspectives.

A helpful tool to use for this guidance within our psyche may be dream exploration. Anyone knowledgeable of Carl Jung’s work or psychoanalysis would be helpful in dream interpretation. Two other wonderful and useful processes are Beyond Quantum Healing and Quantum Alchemy Healing. I must admit this is a prideful plug for my own work! There are so many other modalities that let us take a peak into our psyche. As we uncover the hidden aspects of us within our own holograms, we come to know the wholeness of our Being.

I may be touching on this subject matter at a later time because this is just scratching the surface. We can definitely go much deeper with this discussion. The final thoughts for now that I will leave you with are the following:

  • Start exploring your personal hologram through contemplation and meditation.
  • Self-inquiry is a valuable daily practice to open new avenues for perspectives to be shown.
  • Are you open to working with a qualified guide? If so, this may be a short cut in the process of uncovering hidden images within your psyche.
  • On choosing a guide for this work, use your own discernment. This is where intuition comes in very handy. Follow your own guidance/gut.

Last, but not least, I’ll share my comprehensive list of therapeutic-grade essential oils that may help with this deep experiential work. The following oils may be beneficial and helpful in the exploration to view our inner hologram. Anything with an asterisk is my personal go-to-preference.
